The Mace Windu Starfighter appears to be a revamp of the Obi-Wan Transformer with a new color scheme, a little retooling, and a Samuel L. Jackson-esque head sculpt. The Starfighter is trimmed in a matching color to Winduâs twin purple lightsabers. In robot mode, the wings buckle backwards and the Starfighterâs cockpit form the robot Winduâs torso plate. Articulation is fair but somewhat limited. The moth-shaped Jedi Starfighter is equipped with adequate weaponry and maneuverability and armed with ion cannons. The Starfighter cannot enter hyperspace unassisted and is incapable of generating its own force field, but the Starfighter is reasonably fast. Mace Windu was one of the stronger members of the Jedi council, though Windu did ultimately fall during his disastrous attempt to arrest Palpatine. However, if Windu had had the ability to transform his Starfighter into a gigantic uber-Windu, he could have simply squashed Palpatine like a marshmallow bunny, and the Empire would never have existed. | *$27.95 |
