There is an Auto repeat function that restarts the countdown automatically when time's up and the Memory function lets you store one countdown time so you don't have to keep resetting. There are also six different alarm sounds for different activities when using the countdown feature: the standard "beep", a whistling teapot, cuckoo sound, bell, car horn and boing sound. It can be set for up to 23 hours, 59 minutes. If set for more than an hour, it will automatically announce each hour remaining until one hour is left.
