We asked our factory engineers to come up with a Plasma Ball that was completely different from anything currently available to consumers. What they designed is unlike anything you have ever seen. By bottom mounting the center electrode and filling the ball with a new combination of rare gases they have managed to capture the look of the Aurora Borealis. Streams of white plasma surge from the glowing red electrode and explode into vivid shades of green, red, blue, violet, pink and turquoise as they contact the globe wall. The colors are bright enough to be seen easily in daylight, and the item ships with a removable molded black screen which helps to further highlight the colors in a bright environment. In a darkened room the effects are outstanding!

The 12" Diameter Glass Ball sits atop a 4" faux Burl-wood molded base, creating an expensive looking item that will be the centerpiece of any room.

The Globe is powered by an included 12 volt Switching Power Supply, not your standard AC adaptor "wall-wart". These power supplies are fully regulated, accepting input from 100-240 volts, and outputting constant stable 12 volts, to insure that the Plasma Globe's effects last for thousands of hours.
